Lorraine Carroll is an experienced physiotherapist with over 25 years of clinical practice. She takes an integrated, hands-on approach to care, combining manual therapy, targeted exercise programmes, medical acupuncture, which includes the dry needling technique, and clear education to support recovery, pain management, and long-term function.
Her main clinical interests include temporomandibular disorders (TMD), neck pain, and headaches, particularly tension-type headaches and migraines.

Lorraine graduated in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin in 1999 and completed a Master’s in Manipulative Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in 2001. She has also trained in Medical Acupuncture and is a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor.
Alongside her clinical work, Lorraine has made a strong contribution to physiotherapy education. She has helped develop and teach postgraduate programmes in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and acupuncture, and has recently been appointed as a part-time lecturer in the Physiotherapy Department at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Her career has included work with elite athletes and performers, including roles with the Riverdance troupe in the USA, the Irish national swimming team, and the Leinster rugby medical team.
Outside work, Lorraine enjoys running, swimming, Pilates, yoga, cooking healthy meals, and spending time with her family.
Simon Coghlan is an experienced physiotherapist, educator, and clinic owner with over 25 years in the profession. His clinical background spans private sports physiotherapy clinics, elite rugby and cricket teams, hospitals, and university teaching roles.
He has a particular interest in treating temporomandibular disorders (TMD), orofacial pain, and other dental-related pain conditions. Simon is known for combining manual therapy, dry needling, medical acupuncture, and tailored exercise rehabilitation to achieve practical, lasting outcomes for his patients.

Simon completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 2000, followed by a Master of Science in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at University College Dublin in 2008.
He holds a Diploma in Medical Acupuncture and Dry Needling from the British Medical Acupuncture Society and currently serves as Chair of its Competence, Accreditation, and Examining Board.
Simon is also a Certified Health Coach, with training in lifestyle-based care to support long-term recovery through improvements in diet, exercise, sleep, and stress management.
In 2021, he completed a Certificate in Healthcare Management at the Yale School of Management, further developing his leadership and business skills in the private healthcare sector.
Simon is committed to delivering evidence-informed, patient-centred care. He continues to combine his clinical expertise with a practical understanding of healthcare education, leadership, and practice development.
